Few words about us.
We offer over 20 combined years of inspection experience. Homeworks Inspection Services was founded in 1999. Since then, we have performed thousands of home inspections in southern Ontario.

Our inspectors have obtained the necessary technical and professional skills through extensive training, on the job experience and continuing education.

Dan Kern RHI - (Inspector) Dan has years of experience in construction, in both structure and electrical.  He is an Architectural Technology graduate of Mohawk College, as well as a Registered Home Inspector, the highest standard for residential inspections through the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors.

Rod McDonald - (Inspector) Rod spent many years as a senior inspector for a nationally franchised inspection company, performing quality inspections in the Hamilton, Burlington and Oakville areas.

Doug Kern RHI - (Inspector) Doug opened Homeworks Inspection Services over ten years ago with himself as the sole inspector. Inspectors were soon added to meet the high demand for quality home inspections.  Doug’s background is business/construction and he is a Registered Home Inspector and a member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors.

Bob Barnes - (Inspector) Bob has many years of experience within the home renovation and restoration industry. Bob is an active member of the Ontario Association of Home Inspectors, the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
